September 1, 2010: Welcome Back Morning
It was a day for hugs and hellos and myriad reunions, getting one’s bearings, picking up books and getting the chance to check out the classrooms. “New” second-graders got to go upstairs and sit at their own—individual—desks. For sixth-graders it was a chance to meet Megan Schlichting, their new English and history teacher, and homeroom teacher for some. Eighth-graders reveled in the fact that this is “their” year. We even spotted a few recent alumns on the premises. And many thanks to the PA for a job well-done. We are up and running.
